The sculptural, seemingly simple look of the Epic Coffee Table comprises of two geometric elements: a hexagon and a circle. The table’s modern, minimalist tone carries a subtle reference to the iconic columns of Ancient Greece. Epic by GUBI is a collection of distinctive tables crafted in either beautiful travertine stone or simple steel, designed by the Danish-Italian design duo GamFratesi: Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi. The designers drew inspiration to the series from the historical travertine constructions such as the Roman Colosseum. The grand Epic tables also lend their name from epic poems. The Epic collection features coffee tables in several sizes, and a dining table, all manufactured in Italy.
