HAY About A Chair AAC12 Eco, Lacquered Oak – Black

About A Chair AAC12 Eco combines the sleek appearance of HAY’s iconic About A collection with environmentally friendly materials. The EU Ecolabelled chair’s streamlined seat is crafted from recycled polypropylene – waste material from About A production lines, to be precise. The wooden frame is made from FSC certified oak finished with an eco-friendly water-based lacquer. What’s more, all About A Eco chairs and stools are entirely recyclable.

The About A Chair Eco chairs are part of HAY’s About A collection, created in close collaboration with designer Hee Welling, featuring chairs with outstanding simplicity and combinability. With the About A collection, Welling wanted to reach a new level in the combination of shape, function, comfort, detail, and aesthetics. The idea was to develop a chair that would work equally well around a dining table and a conference table, as well as in a restaurant, café or office. Due to their simple and straightforward design, the chairs can be combined with many types of furniture and interiors.
