The Visu lounge chair was designed for Muuto by Finnish designer Mika Tolvanen. The designer has said about his creation: “The task was to create a personal interpretation of the ever-relevant plywood chair. I wanted my chair to have an unobtrusive and timeless nature that is familiar but never boring and without sacrificing function or ergonomics. In the end, I think every detail is exactly as it is supposed to be”. The Visu lounge chair has a seat that is pleasantly wide and ergonomic, making the Visu lounge chair perfect for the living room.
In 2020 Muuto changed the chairs’ finish to a more environmentally-friendly, water-based lacquer. Please note that, as a result, the hue of the chairs is slightly different than before.
